Privacy Policy
Effective September 4, 2026
The short version: we don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and your written reflections are never used to train an AI model or shown to anyone else. The rest of this page explains exactly what we collect, why, and who we share it with to run the app.
Honecraft ("Honecraft," "we," "us") is provided by STACKEDSOLO LLC, an Oregon limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Honecraft app (iOS) and honecraft.app (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, that provider shares your name and email address with us, consistent with the permissions you grant them.
Practice data
The core of Honecraft is a daily reasoning practice. When you use it, we collect the choices you make, the confidence you state, timing information, and any free-text reflections or rationales you write. We also compute and store summaries of this activity (your "Mirror") so you can see your own patterns over time.
A self-reported age band
During onboarding we ask which broad age band you fall into (13–15, 16–17, or 18+). This is used only to calibrate which exercises are shown to you — we do not collect your exact birthdate.
Subscription information
If you subscribe to Honecraft Studio, our payment processors (Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat) handle your payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We do store your subscription status (e.g., active, tier, renewal date) so the app knows what you're entitled to.
Usage and diagnostic data
We collect standard product-analytics events (which screens you visit, how long a session takes, whether a practice was completed) and crash/error reports, so we can find and fix problems and understand which parts of the app are actually useful.
Communications
If you contact us, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can respond and follow up.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Service: create your account, run practice sessions, compute your Mirror, and process subscriptions.
- To generate the narrative text around your Mirror and reveal content. An AI model (Anthropic's API) may be used to write this narrative text, or to classify a free-text answer you wrote into a structure or lens label — but it never generates the underlying numbers themselves. Every score or statistic you see is computed by our own code, not guessed by a model.
- To fix bugs, improve the app, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
- To communicate with you about your account, your subscription, or changes to the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. What we never do
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever, to anyone.
- We do not run advertising in Honecraft, and we do not share your data with third parties so they can advertise to you.
- Your written reflections and rationales are private. They are never used to train any AI model, never shown to another user, and never included in anything you share (like a Challenge link) unless you take a specific, separate action to share that content yourself.
4. Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run Honecraft. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its job, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Apple / Google | Sign-in (if you choose that method) |
| RevenueCat, Stripe, Apple | Subscription billing and payment processing |
| Anthropic | Drafts narrative text around numbers our systems compute; may classify free-text into structure/lens labels (see Section 2) |
| PostHog | Product usage analytics |
| Sentry | Crash and error monitoring |
| Resend | Transactional email (sign-in links, notifications) |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, image delivery, and content delivery |
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Honecraft, our users, or the public.
5. Where your data is processed
Our service providers operate infrastructure in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be processed outside the country where you live, with appropriate safeguards in place.
6. Data retention
We keep your account and practice data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we're required to retain records (for example, payment records our processors keep for tax and accounting purposes).
7. Your rights and choices
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We're building in-app self-service tools for export and deletion; until they ship, we'll handle these requests by hand, promptly.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of it — rights that are easy for us to honor because we don't sell or share your data in the first place. If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, you have similar rights under GDPR-equivalent law, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing.
8. Children's privacy
Honecraft is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to create an account (at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, database-level access controls, and row-level security so that a user's data is only readable by that user. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take this seriously.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-app notice.
